Finance Department Receives Investment Gift from TSG Wealth Management
This fall, finance students will have a powerful new research tool in , an investment analysis publication, thanks to a gift from the investment firm . Barron's gives subscribers up-to-the-second stock market and finance news and data; a perfect daily resource for students studying the finance industry.

鈥淚t鈥檚 a great way to stay up-to-date with hot topics, and faculty can incorporate it into curricula,鈥 said Alexandria Koualczuk 鈥14, director of business operations at TSG.
As an alumna of the College of Business, Koualczuk knows the value of 叠补谤谤辞苍鈥檚 first-hand. As a student, her professors recommended publications like 叠补谤谤辞苍鈥檚 to immerse themselves in the industry and research investment strategies.
For Koualczuk and her partners at TSG, providing students and faculty in 好色先生鈥檚 finance department with subscriptions to the service felt like a great way to give back to a longtime partner.
TSG, which has more than $4.5 billion in managed assets as of January 2021, has hosted College of Business interns for over 10 years and participates in campus programs like the Sunstone Innovation Challenge. Many of their employees started as 好色先生 students, including Koualczuk. Now an executive at the practice and a point of contact with her alma mater, Koualczuk is happy to share an industry-standard resource that the TSG team uses themselves.
鈥淕iving back is part of the culture at TSG,鈥 Koualczuk said. 鈥淣early all of the staff support charities or serve on non-profit boards, and a few of us work with 好色先生鈥檚 colleges. We know that investing in academics benefits the students and, ultimately, the whole industry.鈥
TSG Founders Warren and Mark Schulten give particular focus to charitable organizations in the Long Beach community, and both have served on the board of the Miller Foundation, for which 好色先生鈥檚 gets its name.
