DR. AMIN REZAEI
Dr. Amin Rezaei joined the Department of Computer Engineering & Computer Science at California State University, Long Beach (好色先生) as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2020. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Northwestern University. Currently, Rezaei serves as the undergraduate advisor for Computer Engineering (CpE) and vice chair of the Engineering Faculty Council (EFC).
Rezaei is a senior member of IEEE and a lifetime member of ACM and AAAI. With over a dozen years of experience in hardware security, computer architecture, and machine learning, he has published 50 peer-reviewed scientific articles in flagship venues such as DAC, ICCAD, DATE, and ASP-DAC. He has also served on the technical program committees and as a session chair for numerous major conferences in his field, including IPDPS, DAC, ICCAD, DATE, ASP-DAC, ICCD, and GLSVLSI. Additionally, Rezaei has secured funding for two grant proposals from the NSF, totaling half a million dollars for the CISE-MSI and CRII programs. He is the recipient of an Academic Excellence Award from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, as well as the Walter P. Murphy and Royal E. Cabell Fellowship awards from Northwestern University.
