MSCM Admissions Requirements

 

Satisfy university requirements for graduate admission. Additional department-specific requirements are listed below: 

Applicants with a domestic undergraduate degree require: 

  1. An earned Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university in a construction related degree, with essential undergraduate prerequisites in construction management satisfied. Graduates of curricula outside this area may be required to satisfy program prerequisites before full admission into the program. 
  2. A GPA of 2.8 or above from upper-division classes. 
  3. Submit a statement of purpose. 
  4. Submit a resume or CV. 
  5. Submit three (3) professional and/or academic letters of recommendation (Exception: This requirement is waived for applicants with a GPA greater than 3.0).  

Applicants with an international undergraduate degree require: 

  1. An earned Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university in a construction related degree, with essential undergraduate prerequisites in construction management satisfied. Graduates of curricula outside this area may be required to satisfy program prerequisites before full admission into the program. 
  2. A GPA of 2.8 or above from upper-division classes.  
  3. Demonstrate English language proficiency (TOEFL score of >= 80 (iBT), or overall IELTS score of >= 6, or DuoLingo score of >= 115). 
  4. Submit a statement of purpose. 
  5. Submit a resume or CV. 
  6. Submit three (3) professional and/or academic letters of recommendation (Exception: This requirement is waived for applicants with a GPA greater than 3.0).  

Note: The institution code for GRE and TOEFL/IELTS/DuoLingo reporting is 4389.

  4. Three (3) letters of recommendation (see requirements above) 
  5. A resume or CV.
