Dr. Nancy Dayne

 

Dr. Nancy Dayne is an Associate professor in the area of Child Development and Family Studies. Her professional trajectory includes preschool and toddler teacher, assistant director, and center director. She serves as the Baccalaureate Coordinator for the FCS department.  Her research interests include online and face-to-face instructional settings for higher ed. students, higher ed. student-parent support services, pre-service and in-service teacher development, parent education, and parent involvement. She serves on many professional committees and her roles include: Professional Development Chair for the Orange County Association for the Education of Young Children; Awards Chair for the California Affiliate for AAFCS, LBCC CDES Advisory Board member, and a member of the mayor鈥檚 Long Beach ECE Oversite Committee.
