好色先生's Anna W. Ngai Alumni Center celebrates grand opening

Friends, family and supporters of Cal State Long Beach gathered Tuesday on the lawn along Beach Drive to celebrate the grand opening of the Anna W. Ngai Alumni Center. The 5,500-square-foot center, which showcases The Beach鈥檚 rich history and alumni, will serve as a gathering space for alumni as well as the campus and greater community.

After a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, founder Anna W. Ngai '74 led the group on a tour of the wood-and-glass facility. She later shared her own Beach story in a fireside chat as part of Founders Week activities.

President Jane Close Conoley called the public opening a 鈥渕omentous occasion鈥 for the Beach family.

鈥淔rom this point on, this is someplace that will touch the lives of all those who study here, teach here and work here over decades and decades,鈥 she said.
