Bilingual Emphasis
Certificate in Professional and Conversational Competence for Spanish Heritage Speakers
好色先生 SLP undergraduate students have the opportunity to earn a bilingual certificate. This option is available to students with existing language competence in Spanish.
The requirements for this bilingual certificate option include
- Must be a matriculated student in 好色先生 SLP Undergraduate Program
- Take an assessment to confirm language proficiency in Spanish
- Take three (3) additional Spanish courses in addition to the undergraduate-level coursework in SLP
- Complete a clinical internship course (SLP 462 - Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Practicum) primarily working with Spanish-English speaking populations
