"Minari" - A Virtual Conversation with Writer/Director, Lee Isaac Chung
The Academy Gold AAPI Affinity Group and ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú hold an Academy's Visiting Artists event with , director of Oscar-winning (2021). He will talk about the film, its depiction of a Korean immigrant family's American dream, his Asian American filmmaking experience, his work on independent and mainstream productions, and his process transitioning from school to career. Professor in Film & Electronic Arts will introduce the event, and producer , Governor of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, will moderate a 75-minute conversation with the director including an open Q&A on Zoom.
