Women of Color in Academia @ 好色先生

This group provides structural, institutional, and communal support faculty, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, ability, or sexual orientation; including women of color faculty. At the start of the 2024-2025 academic year, the group had approximately 140 members and spans across all university colleges. 

Women of Color in Academia @好色先生 pledges to:

  1. Create awareness of the impact of the intersectionality of gender, race, and ethnicity on the professional experience of faculty on campus.
  2. Increase institutional support to promote the success of our faculty women of color, and
  3. Create a faculty support network across the university through mentoring and highlighting the accomplishments of group participants. Welcomes all faculty, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, ability, or any other orientation.
