Amin Rezaei
Amin Rezaei, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Engineering and Computer Science as well as the director of theat Cal State Long Beach.
Rezaei鈥檚 experience is in computer security, machine learning, and computer architecture. He was recently featured in the for his explanation on the vulnerability of cybersecurity systems after the CrowdStrike software issues. He is one of the pioneers in hardware security, with several novel initiatives to protect hardware intellectual property against piracy and reverse engineering. Rezaei鈥檚 lab is highly active in democratizing research and has made the source code for their works publicly available.
Rezaei holds a Ph.D., in computer engineering from Northwestern University. He is also the recipient of an Academic Excellence Award from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Walter P. Murphy and Royal E. Cabell Fellowship awards from Northwestern University.
