Federal Work-Study
Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a type of financial aid that allows students to earn money through part-time employment on the 好色先生 campus. Students must be enrolled in 6 units and offered Federal Work-Study in their financial aid in order to work under this program.
The intent of the program is to assist students with paying for educational expenses. FWS jobs are available during the Fall and Spring semesters to undergraduate, credential and graduate students who meet federal and institutional eligibility requirements.

Summer Student Research Assistantships (SSRA)
Academic Affairs, in collaboration with the Office of Research and Economic Development, is pleased to support Student Research Assistantship Program every summer.
This program is designed to encourage student participation in a broad range of scholarly and academic activities and is open to eligible undergraduates and graduates from all disciplines and academic areas of study. The assistantship provides financial support during the 2024 summer intersession months to undertake full-time research and scholarly activities in collaboration with a Faculty Research Mentor (Tenured/tenure track faculty, or Lecturer with a Tenured/tenure track faculty/Department Chair as Co-Mentor). Research Mentors are expected to meet regularly with their assistant and provide a blend of supervision that provides directed guidance with scope for initiative and independent thought. Faculty mentors are highly encouraged to complete the Beach Mentor program. For more information on .
Faculty Mentors are also required to enter their ORCiD number in the application.
Due to the competitive nature of this award, a Faculty mentor may only nominate up to 2 students. If two students are nominated, the Faculty mentor must rank the two students. to submit your application beginning Monday, October 28, 2024. SSRA application submission ends by Friday, December 6, 2024, by 5pm.

ASI Business Finance Committee Grants
Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) provides a wide variety of programs and services to enhance the educational experiences of its members, the students of LBSU. ASI is committed to the development and preservation of a vibrant student community and believes firmly that students and organizations play a vital role in that effort. ASI鈥檚 policies on Student Grants provide guidance for the allocation of funds to students and organizations for the production of events, research and professional development that benefit the student body.

ASI Student Travel Grant
Available to all students who are presenting at a conference, or if they just want to attend the conference. This grant can cover travel and conference fees. Applicants will need to meet the standards and procedures outlined in the .

ASI Student Research Grant
Intended to support students working on individualized, long-term research, or creative projects of at least one academic session in duration, under the guidance and supervision of an LBSU faculty member. Applicants will need to meet the standards and procedures outlined in the .

SLD Student Academic Travel Grant for Conferences
The Office of Student Life and Development (SLD) is pleased to offer the Student Academic Travel Grant. The grant is available for currently enrolled 好色先生 students wishing to grow in their academic discipline by presenting an academic paper/research or a poster presentation at a professional academic conference, workshop, seminar, and/or lecture. The SLD Student Academic Travel Grant aims to supplement the cost of the conference registration and/or membership (only if required to present) fees to an academic conference.
