Heat Illness Prevention
If you are in high-heat environments, practice basic heat prevention by:
- Drinking plenty of cool, fresh water throughout the day
- Take cool-down rests for at least five minutes when you feel the need to do so
- Seeking adequate shade when taking cool-down rests
- Using a 鈥渂uddy system鈥. Work or participate with others, knowing where they are and having them know where you at all times
