Guest speaker, Steve Heckler (author and consultant specializing in executive coaching, team building, leadership development, and high-level IT consulting) will share his experience and insights on what it takes to become a great manager.

Steve Heckler is the President and Founder of Steve Heckler Assoc (SHA), a Los Angeles-based consultancy specializing in executive coaching, team building, leadership development, and high-level IT consulting. He was the keynote speaker at AMCIS (Americas Conference on Information Systems), a flagship annual meeting hosted by ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú in Long Beach in 2000.
Author of So. . . You Want to be a Manager (2024), Steve is a seasoned executive with over 35 years of high technology experience, has held key management roles at major corporations including IBM, Activision, and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
His consulting practice is enhanced by his extensive background, having served as EVP and CIO for 16 years, and his ability to effectively bridge technology with business needs. Steve is a Board Certified Coach and holds advanced degrees in electrical engineering and operations research, as well as an MBA in Marketing from New York University.
