GBCS has received the below opportunities for students to apply to.
- - Since 2006, the Cal State DC program has offered students opportunities to study and intern in our nation's capital. Through our program, students earn academic credit while interning in Washington. Many of our program alumni turned their Cal State DC experience into a thriving career in our nation's capital while others have taken this experience to enhance their further education and/or career opportunities in government, business, entertainment, and other industries all over the world.
- Apostle Incubator - The Apostle Incubator is a FREE program for 好色先生 students and our Long Beach community members who want to learn more about starting a business or brush up on best practices for attaining and sustaining a successful business. Meets every Tuesday night at 7:00pm in the Horn Center 100.
- Sunstone Innovation Challenge - The Sunstone Innovation Challenge is an annual campus-wide business plan competition.鈥疶he winning team receives support for their business, including $15,000 in seed funding, and space, marketing, legal, and accounting services totaling up to $35,000.
- - The fellowship is a paid, full鈥憈ime position that offers a competitive salary and benefits. Fellows have the opportunity to convert to a full鈥憈ime career position upon successful completion of the program. The Digital Corps supports in鈥憄erson, hybrid, and distributed Fellows, subject to the telework policies of project agencies. The U.S. Digital Corps is an early鈥慶areer technology opportunity for recent graduates, career changers, Veterans, and more. We bring on Fellows in five broad skill tracks: software engineering, data science and analytics, product management, design, and cybersecurity.
- - Founded in 2021, FLS is designed for students from underrepresented communities who have an interest in investment management and wish to pursue a career in finance by way of continued education. Inspired by the program鈥檚 ongoing success, the PIMCO Foundation will be awarding $30,000 scholarships to students. Current undergraduate sophomores, current or future (Fall 2025) master鈥檚 degree students, and current doctoral students are invited to apply. FLS is designed for students from underrepresented communities who have an interest in investment management and wish to pursue a career in finance by way of continued education.
