Academic Interventions
Academic Interventions for Struggling Students
(Reading/Writing or Math)
One-on-one academic assessment and intervention sessions are available in the Fall for children requiring intense intervention in the areas of reading or basic math. Advanced graduate students provide evidence-based interventions that are individually administered to your child in order to determine your child's academic skills. Sessions are tailored to help children make demonstrable progress toward critical academic goals in order to achieve success in school. In-person, one-hour sessions are held twice a week (Academic Intervention Clinic is approximately 14-15 sessions based on start date and regular attendance) The clinic concludes with a parent conference and final report that details the assessment results, your child's responsiveness to intervention, and recommendations for future academic interventions is provided.
