Enrollment Procedure
Thank you for your interest in our services! The Clinic enrolls clients according to the university calendar for the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Clients must complete a consultation call and screener form. Due to the educational nature of the Community Clinic, we reserve the right to make enrollment decisions based on clinic judgment with respect to meeting the needs of the client and/or the student clinician's training experience. Walk-ins are not accepted.
To enroll for our services:
- Call or schedule a consultation call: (562) 985-4991
- Complete a screener form with clinic staff.
- Clinic staff will inform you of your scheduled intake appointment.
- Faculty will assess the information provided during the intake session to determine whether the clinic criteria for services offered are met (or if services meet your specific needs).
- If you are confirmed for services our clinic staff will remain in contact with you to answer questions and provide further instructions.
Please note:
- Admittance is based on a first-come, first-served basis and on the level of need.
- Depending on the services requested and the date your screening form was completed, there may be a waiting period.
- The primary purpose of the Clinic is to provide a training site for graduate students enrolled in various practicum courses. Although we would like to assist everyone who requests our services, we are not always able to do so.
- In the case of a minor, only a parent or legal guardian of the child may submit an application for services.
- If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please see our fee reduction guidelines:
